Basic Life Support (CPR) with AED for Healthcare Providers
This course follows the recommended American Heart Association’s basic life support CPR with AED training curriculum
for instruction for those who are healthcare providers. The training includes basic life support for the Adult, Child
and Infant. The length of the course will be 4-8 hours. The length of the class will be dependent on whether the s
tudent is in need of initial certification or for recertification. The student will view a video by the American Heart
Association, leisured, and demonstrated in how to correctly perform CPR on the Adult, Child and Infant. The student will
be required to return demonstration and pass a written test in order to become certified in CPR. On passing the demonstration
and written test the student will then receive an American Heart Association’s Basic Life Support CPR Certification card.
The certification is effective for a period of 2 years. Group rates are available.

HeartSaver Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
This course follows the recommended American Heart Association guidelines for instructing the layperson in CPR. The course
objectives will teach the layperson in the links of the chain of survival, how to recognize major emergencies and how to respond.
The basic techniques of adult CPR and use of an AED will be demonstrated. Heartsaver CPR for the child and infant is available.
The Adult, Child and Infant may be taught together or separately dependent on the need of the individual. The student will be
instructed on the use of barrier devices in CPR and giving first aid for choking. The length of the course will be 3 1/2 to 9 hours.
On completion, the student should be able to demonstrate the correct techniques to perform CPR on the adult and/or the child and infant,
and pass the written test. The student will receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver Certification card, which will be effective
for 2 years.

First Aid Training
American Heart Association First Aid Training curriculum guides the content of the course. The course will focus on providing first aid
within various in doors and outdoors settings. How to recognize and respond to non-emergency and emergency situations. After successful
passing of the course, the student will receive an American Heart Association First Aid card. Length of course 4-8 hours. Call for pricing.
Phlebotomy I
Introduction to Phlebotomy is a 40 hour course which includes both theory and clinical laboratory skill training. The course describes the Phlebotomist's
responsibilities in the healthcare environment. The course covers critical safety issues for the phlebotomist and their role as a customer service provider.
Medical terminology used within the workplace, basic anatomy and physiology of the circulatory system and the common sites used to perform venipunctures and skin
puncture techniques. Discussion for blood collection equipment, the order of the blood specimens collection and common laboratory tests.

Phlebotomy II
Phlebotomy II is a 40 hour course which is a continuation of Intro to Phlebotomy. Student receives a general overview with advanced skin
puncture Theory and Lab methods of collecting routine venipuncture specimens and monitoring vital signs. Recognizing and preventing complications during
venipuncture, maintaining confidentiality, and accurately documentation of specimen collection.

HEART Monitor Technician
The course consists of 40 hours combining classroom and practicum instructions. This basic "dysrhythmia" course will provide the trainee
with knowledge, skill, and ability to recognize a normal sinus rhythm, various lethal dysrhythmia and appropriate intervention to each situation. Call for pricing.
