This is licensed by the Arkansas State Board of Private Career Education and Approved by the Office
of Long Term Care Nursing Assistant Program. The course will provide 90 hours of training required by the State of
Arkansas for state certification of Nursing Assistants. You will
be prepared to work in long-term care, acute care, as well as in many other healthcare settings. You will be trained
in basic nursing assistant procedures including: Communication and Interpersonal Skills, Infection Prevention and Control
, Safety and Emergency, Promoting Independence/ Respecting Resident’s Rights, Introduction to Resident Care, Personal Care
Skills, Basic Life Support CPR with AED training. No Credit will be accepted for previous education training and/or
experience. Following completion of the 90 hours, you will receive a Certification of Completion and then may apply to
take the state’s nursing assistant written/oral and clinical examination.
Prerequisites:
Must be 16 years old

Days: Monday thru Friday
Hours: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
(New class forms every two weeks)
